What We Do
We define Horse Whispering, as a non-violent behavior modification tool for communicating with people, animals and the environment. Horse Whispering Violence Prevention Fund incorporates Horse Whispering techniques, philosophies and spiritual concepts by using horses as non-violence facilitators to under privileged children, at risk youth, parents, juvenile programs, tribal programs, public and private programs.
Our mobile service gives others, who may otherwise never have the chance in their life to learn about the wonderful world of horses and also learn about non-violent communication philosophies at the same time.
By offering our unique service, we help others break generations of cycles of violence and abuse and can better understand themselves and make mental changes. By doing this they can change their courses in life, and start treating themselves and others with understanding, trust and respect.
People are the one’s causing the violence against one another, animals and damaging our environment. So once, we can teach people alternatives to violence and offer non-violent solutions we can solve a whole range of problems that plague our society as a whole.
We feel once this is accomplished then humans can start treating others, animals and the environment better. If they feel good mentally about themselves, everything else will change.
