During this time, they will learn to create a sense of unity and cooperation with one another. While working with horses, they are learning how each others actions are affecting each other's attitudes and actions in both positve and negative ways. The horse is very effective facilitator.

Once the parents and children understand how their behaviors are affecting each other, they are then able to create new positive ways versus using old negative behavior patterns. When the parents and children start changing their minds, they will automatically change how they treat each other.

We believe, if there is no awareness, there can be no change. We all know the definition of insanty, doing thing the same behaviors over and over and somehow expecting the relationship to change.

Our situation will not change until we do something different. That's what the horse teaches us. Doing more of the wrong thing doesn't make it the right thing.

Our Parent/Child Unity Camps bring parents and children together in a positive setting, where parents and children can both begin to learn about each other and themselves in postive ways.

OUR PROGRAM

Is about getting parents and children communicating on a mutual level, preventing maltreatment of children by giving the parents effective tools to deal with their children's behavior.

We know parenting is a tough job and one that does not come naturally. By attending our program, we will help you create less family stress, and better behaved children and create stronger relationships with your children.

Everytime we help a parent, we help a child, everytime we help a child we help a parent.
